Islamabad: The Special Committee of the National Assembly has ordered the reinstatement of the PIA employees dismissed on the basis of fake degrees.
The special committee of the National Assembly on PIA employees under the leadership of Qadir Mandukhel also directed to give previous privileges to 840 employees fired on fake degrees and also ordered DG Civil Aviation to close the cases filed against the fake degree employees.
The committee directed to reinstate the employees dismissed on fake degree since 2009.
The special committee also directed to reinstate 650 sacked civil aviation employees. The committee also recommended the dismissal of CEO PIA, DG Civil Aviation and Secretary Aviation to the Establishment Division. It was also decided to bring privilege motion against the three officers.
In a letter issued by the committee to the Establishment Division, Qadir Mandukhel directed DGFIA to implement the January 21 order. The order directed CEOPIA and DGCAA to file a case.
