Section 144 enforced for one month in Peshawar

Peshawar: Section 144 was imposed by the Deputy Commissioner in Peshawar, the capital of Khair Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to the announcement issued by the Deputy Commissioner Office Peshawar, section 144 has been imposed in the provincial capital for one month in view of Muharram.

According to Express News, under Section 144, display of weapons, aerial firing, use of vehicles with black glasses has been banned.

Deputy Commissioner Peshawar says that during Muharram, there will be a ban on fireworks, rent-a-car vehicles and staying in hotels in the city.
