Oceangate chief executive (CEO) Stockton Rush has revealed his desire to take tourists on a deep-sea ‘Titanic Wreck’ tour.

According to the report of the international media ‘Insider’, the CEO of Ocean Gate, Stockton Rush, once expressed his wish in an interview to take tourists on a tour to the wreck of the Titanic.

In response to this question, Rush revealed about his dangerous desire, saying that he chose to take tourists diving to the wreck of the Titanic in the deep sea, because it is an underwater world. It is the most famous and valuable thing.
In a 2020 interview with Insider, Stockton-Rush said, “I like to say that if you ask someone what’s underwater, they’ll answer with three names: sharks, whales, and the Titanic.” .’
He said that everyone wants to know about the Titanic, even though it has reached the bottom of the ocean.
“We’ve really bridged the gap between the Titanic and the tourists because people want to know about it and it’s the only famous and huge thing underwater,” Rush added.
Rush said during the interview that the crew and members of the Titanic submarine should be given special respect and honor because what we do adds to the overall knowledge of not only the Titanic, but all shipwrecks.
During this interview, Rush also said that he knows that the company broke some rules while building the ship.
It should be noted that Rush, the CEO of OceanGate’s Titan submarine, which exploded in the depths of the sea last month, was also one of the five people who died during the voyage of the Titanic shipwreck.
According to Titan submarine officials, the Titan submarine exploded less than two hours after setting off on its June 18 mission and shortly before it lost all communication with its mothership.
On the other hand, the American and Canadian authorities are still investigating this tragic incident as to how and why the submarine exploded.
It should be remembered that the other people killed in the plane included French explorer Paul Henri Nargeault, British billionaire Hamish Harding, British Pakistani, Prince Dawood and his 19-year-old son Suleiman.
Prior to the incident, the Titan submarine had made three trips to the Titanic wreck, while Oceangate was still advertising Titanic voyages as of June 30 last month, with two missions lined up for June 2024.
