The British government has issued new instructions regarding travel to Pakistan and asked citizens to avoid traveling to most areas of KP including Peshawar.
The directive states that there is a risk of terrorist attacks in Pakistan, do not travel to the districts of Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, North Waziristan and South Waziristan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The British government says its citizens should also avoid traveling to the districts of Charsadda, Kohat, Tank, Bannu, Lakki, Dera Ismail Khan, Swat, Buner and Lower Dir.
According to the British government, citizens should not travel on the N45 road from the north of Peshawar city and Mardan district ring road to the edge of Chitral district, similarly, citizens should not go to any area other than the southern coast of Balochistan province.
The British government also instructed its citizens to stay away from political demonstrations and said that some political demonstrations contained anti-Western sentiments.
The British government has advised its citizens to be aware of extreme heat.
