2 more people were killed and 13 injured due to ongoing firing over land dispute in different areas of Karam district. 9 people have lost their lives so far while 51 have been injured in the armed conflict that has been going on for four days.
According to the police, firing is going on in different areas of Karam district, Khar Kalii, Balash Khel, Piwar, Trimangal and Bushehra Dunder.
Four days ago, a series of firings started in Bushehra Dunder, a suburb of Para Chinar, over a land dispute between the parties, during which rockets and heavy weapons were also used in Piwar and Balish Khel.
The Deputy Commissioner and District Police Officer (DPO) says that efforts are underway with the cooperation of the forces and the tribal elders for a complete ceasefire and peace in the area.
Federal Minister Sajid Tori has also reached for ceasefire between the tribes.
