The Special Court Central of Lahore has issued a written decision acquitting Sulaiman Shahbaz and other accused.
In a written decision, the court has ordered action against former accountability advisor Shahzad Akbar and FIA for creating a false case.
The court ordered action against the Director General (DG) FIA for making a false case against Sulaiman Shehbaz and Syed Tahir Naqvi.
In the court order, action has also been ordered against investigating officer Syed Ali Mardan, deputy director Umeed Arshad Butt.
In its written order, the court has also ordered action against Deputy Director Ahsan Ali Hani and Deputy Director Law Manza Shaheen.
The court order further said that with such action, the officers will refrain from making false cases and learn a lesson.
The decision also said that the then DGFIA Sanaullah Abbasi deliberately did not appear in court today, time has come to take action against those who are part of this matter.
The written order said that the FIA officials had brought down the prestige of their institution and affected the reputation.
