Once again, shadows of uncertainty started hovering over Pakistan’s participation in the ICC World Cup 2023 scheduled in India.

Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Ehsan Mazari has issued a stern warning to the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) and said that under the hybrid model adopted like the Asia Cup, Pakistan also has the right to request a neutral venue.

While criticizing the BCCI, he said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) comes under my ministry, if India demands to play its Asia Cup matches at a neutral venue, then we in India will They will demand the same for the upcoming World Cup.

Ehsan Mazari said that Pakistan is the host of the Asia Cup and has the right to conduct all the matches, this is what cricket fans want that we should not accept the hybrid model.

It should be noted that Ehsan Mazari is a member of the committee established by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to consider Pakistan’s participation in the World Cup hosted by India.

It should be noted that the mega event will start from October 5, Pakistan will begin their journey in the World Cup with a match against Qualifier One in Hyderabad on October 6.

According to the schedule, Pakistan will face Qualifier Two on October 12, while the match between arch-rivals Pakistan and India will be held on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The match between Pakistan and Australia is scheduled for October 20 in Bengaluru, and on October 23, Pakistan and Afghanistan will face each other in Chennai. The national team will play South Africa on October 27 and Bangladesh on October 31.

The Green Shirts will face Pakistan and New Zealand in Bengaluru on November 5, while the national team will play England in Kolkata on November 12.

The first semi-final of the World Cup will be held in Mumbai, the second in Kolkata, and the final will be played in Narendra Modi, Ahmedabad on November 19.
