Cylinder explosion, hotel building collapsed, 3 bodies, 7 injured were evacuated

A cylinder exploded in the kitchen of a 3-storey hotel on GT Road in Jhelum, resulting in the collapse of a part of the building.

The hotel building was turned into a pile of rubble due to the explosion, 3 bodies were pulled out from the rubble.

According to rescue sources, 25 people were buried under the falling debris of the building and the work of extraction is in progress.

The rescue source has said that the bodies of 3 people have been removed from the debris so far, while 7 injured people have been rescued and shifted to the hospital.

According to the rescue officials, 10 to 12 people are still buried under the debris and rescue work is going on.
