Rawalpindi: In Jhamra area of Morgah police station, a robbery occurred at a milk and yogurt shop early in the morning, three robbers looted cash worth more than two and a half lakh rupees and locked the shopkeeper in the shop and escaped.
This morning, the shopkeeper was busy working at Milk Shop when suddenly three armed robbers entered the shop and took the shopkeeper hostage and looted more than two and a half lakh rupees in cash.
The CCTV footage of the incident also came to light, in which the robbers can be seen committing the incident and escaping on a motorcycle.
When contacted by Express, the owner of Malik Shop, Muhammad Arslan, said that the staff of the shop were busy with work after opening the shop early in the morning when three armed suspects wearing shalwar kameez, speaking Punjabi and Pothohari languages committed the crime. Can be seen sitting and escaping.
The police said that the incident has been reported and legal action is being taken.
