In different areas of Karachi, some light and some heavy rains, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain even today.
According to the Meteorological Department, today there is a possibility of rain with wind and thunder in Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Tharparkar, Mithi, Padaidan, Umarkot, Sanghar and Mirpurkhas.
Apart from this, clouds may also rain in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Apart from this, it rained in Lahore last day as well, one person was killed due to electrocution in rain water in Raiwind, while 9 people were injured in roof collapse incidents in Nishtar Town and Shahdara Town.
One person died due to electrocution in Kasur, Gujarat, Khanewal and Hafizabad also received rain in other cities of Punjab.
The highway was affected by the rain in Kohlu, the land connection of Kohlu with Sibi and interior Balochistan was severed due to the rain.
According to NDMA, the recent rains have claimed 76 lives across the country, with the highest number of deaths reported in Punjab at 48 and KP at 20.
Due to the rains, 133 people were injured in the country while 78 houses were damaged.
