Tehran: Gunmen and suicide bombers attacked a police station in Iran’s troubled southeast, killing two police officers and four attackers.
According to the report of the Iranian state television, the incident took place in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan-Baluchistan province.
State television said “four terrorists” and two policemen were killed in the raid.
It should be noted that Sistan-Baluchistan, which borders Pakistan and Afghanistan and is one of the poorest provinces in Iran, is where drugs are trafficked.
