Syam was killed two days ago in an alleged police encounter. Police say that young Syam had several cases of theft and robbery registered against him.
Sources say that Syam was arrested in a case of murder registered in Golra police station on March 13. According to the First Information Report (FIR), the accused shot and killed the youth during the robbery.
