15 Pakistanis who died in the Greece boat accident have been identified, Greek authorities have confirmed the identity of the dead.
According to the Pakistan Embassy, those who have been confirmed dead belonged to Gujarat, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Wahari, Rawalpindi and Mirpur district of Azad Kashmir.
Sharing the details of the dead Pakistanis, the Pakistani Embassy said that the bodies of Abdul Wahid, Sufyan Abbas, Muhammad Tahir, Shahbaz Ahmed of Gujarat have been identified.
According to the embassy, the identity of Adnan, Moaz Siddique, Shehbaz Ahmed from Gujarat has been confirmed.
The Pakistani embassy says that the dead bodies of Arslan Ali, Nasir Ali, Inam Ali, Abu Bakr Arif of Gujranwala have been identified.
Khawar of Sheikhupura, Saqib of Rawalpindi, Yusuf of Mirpur Azad Kashmir have been identified, Mohammad Naeem of Wahari, Ali Ijaz of Mandi Bahauddin have been identified.
The Pakistani embassy further said that they are in constant contact with the Greek and other authorities to return the dead bodies to Pakistan as soon as possible.
It should be noted that last month, the boat of 350 Pakistanis who went to Europe illegally had an accident near the coast of Greece.
