Hindu religious festival Amarnath Yatra has been temporarily suspended in Occupied Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS) from Srinagar, the Amarnath Yatra was temporarily suspended due to bad weather.
The occupying administration of the occupied valley says that the pilgrimage has been stopped for now in view of the heavy rains in the valley.
According to KMS, the Indian media says that 8 pilgrims have been killed and 25 injured so far in the Yatra. The possible reason for the death of the pilgrims is said to be the lack of oxygen at the height of the mountains.
The KMS report said that the yatra started on July 1 and will continue till the end of August.
