On the completion of 7 years of the martyrdom of the well-known young Kashmiri leader Burhan Wani, a shutter-down strike was held in Occupied Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the All-Party Hurriyat Conference has called a strike to pay tribute to Burhan Wani and other martyrs of the Kashmir Liberation Movement.
It should be noted that in August 2015, the Modi government had fixed the price of Burhan Wani’s head at Rs 10 lakh.
On July 8, 2016, Indian Army martyred Burhan Wani along with 2 Hurriyat activists.
On April 13, 2015, Burhan Wani’s brother was martyred by the Indian Army while in custody.
