Islamabad: The Dr. Aafia recovery case was heard in the Islamabad High Court, in which the media and other unrelated persons were thrown out by the court.
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan of Islamabad High Court heard the case. Petitioner Fauzia Siddiqui’s lawyer Imran Shafiq appeared before the court.
In the in-camera hearing, lawyer Imran Shafiq advocate argued that the Pakistani consulate in the US should provide the documents of when Aafia Siddiqui was in jail and the notes taken should also be provided.
The court directed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should inform about providing the documents or not by Tuesday. The court directed all unrelated persons including the media to leave the courtroom during the in-camera hearing. Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till next Thursday.

Senator Mushtaq Ahmad while talking to the media said that the documents are not being provided to us, Dr. Aafia Siddiqui is living in a lot of pain, she is living in the worst and notorious prison in the world.
