Islamabad: There has been a cyber attack on the Election Commission, following which a security alert has been issued by the authorities.
According to Express News, Election Commission employees have been instructed not to use emails after the cyber attack.
The security alert asks employees not to open emails they receive. Opening emails can steal valuable information. Election Commission officials have been ordered to ignore anonymous emails.
