An 8-year-old girl died as a result of a tragic incident outside a primary school in Wimbledon, London.
According to foreign media reports, a suspicious woman crashed her car into a primary school building in Wimbledon, killing an 8-year-old girl and injuring several people.
The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday when children were present in large numbers around the school.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the death of the girl and said that the vehicle hit the school building at high speed, it is a very sad incident and they express their condolences and sympathies to the girl’s family.
According to the police, the female driver was arrested on the spot while investigating the matter from every aspect, the suspect woman will be investigated.
Rescue officials said that 15 ambulances were dispatched to the scene, 16 injured were treated on the spot while 10 injured were shifted to hospital.
