Islamabad: The local court issued notices to Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi in the illegal marriage case.
Islamabad local court issued notices to Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi for July 13 on the petition of a citizen in the case of marriage during Eid.
Sessions Judge East Azam Khan heard the petition filed against the civil judge’s decision to declare the complaint of citizen Muhammad Hanif inadmissible. A supervisory appeal was filed through lawyer Raja Rizwan Abbasi, in which it was held that the court had not fulfilled all legal requirements by declaring the complaint inadmissible.
The court has been requested to annul the decision of May 13 and initiate proceedings against Chairman PTI.
It is further stated in the petition that the petitioner Muhammad Hanif is an Islamic scholar and a friend of Mufti Muhammad Saeed. Mufti Muhammad Saeed gave a statement that Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi got married during Eid. Aoon Chaudhry and Mufti Muhammad Saeed have recorded their statement before the civil judge.
Later, the court issued a notice to Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi and adjourned the hearing till July 13.
It should be noted that the civil judge declared the citizen’s complaint against Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi’s Iddat Nikah inadmissible due to lack of jurisdiction.
