A group of 4 members angry with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) came forward on the issue of election of Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Former Finance Minister GB Javed Manwa while talking to Geo News has said that our group will play a key role in the selection of the new Chief Minister.
Javed Manwa says floor crossing law is not applicable in GB, our group includes Speaker Nazir Ahmed, Senior Minister Raja Zakaria and Fatehullah Khan.
“We always openly disagreed on PTI’s policies, trying to bring more PTI members into the disgruntled group,” he said.
The former finance minister also says that there has been no contact with the forward bloc at present.
It should be noted that the Supreme Appellate Court has approved the schedule for the election of the new Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Speaker Assembly Nazir Ahmed Advocate had presented the new schedule for the election of the Chief Minister in the Supreme Appellate Court which was accepted by the court.
