Edinburgh: The coronation of King Charles of Great Britain and his wife Queen Camilla was celebrated in Scotland.
According to the British media, the coronation of King Charles and Mila Kamila took place in May this year, but as an ancient tradition, this ceremony is also performed in a magnificent manner in Scotland.
In Scotland, King Charles and Queen Camilla were brought in a grand procession to the coronation ceremony. Crowns were crowned and a grand airshow was organized. A large number of participants were present on the occasion.
King Charles’ eldest son and his crown prince William and his wife Kate also attended the ceremony, while the monarch received a 21-gun salute at Edinburgh Castle.
British customs were presented in the ceremony. Attendees were delighted while King Charles and his wife Camilla also expressed their joy and thanked the Scottish government and people.
According to Al Arabiya News, before the merger of the two states in 1603, they were owned by two separate families. Accordingly, the coronation of the king was announced in Scotland.
