The dead chickens were to be supplied to hotels in different areas of Malir, which were caught by the police in a timely manner.

In this regard, SHO Steel Town Nand Lal said that the police party under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Yar Mohammad was busy checking vehicles near the National Highway Somar Goth Mor, during which a white Suzuki pickup registration coming from Gharo to Karachi was found. After stopping No. W 3443 and searching it, dead chickens were found in sacks kept at the rear.

The police arrested the driver of the vehicle, Rizwan, and transferred him to the police station and registered a case.

Nand Lal said that the arrested driver told in the preliminary investigation that the dead chickens are supplied to the hotels established in the adjoining areas of Malir including Gulshan Hadid, Steel Town and Malir City.

It should be noted that a few weeks ago, the Awami Colony police also arrested several people after catching cargo vehicles loaded with dead chickens. The accused also disclosed that they supply dead chickens to various hotels on the National Highway. The police could not catch the hotel owners.
