CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa killed 76 terrorists in 5 months

Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has killed 76 terrorists during the first 5 months of this year.

According to the CTD report, key commanders of the outlawed TTP are also among those killed.

According to the CTD report received by Geo News, in 35 cases in Dera Ismail Khan region, the most wanted extremist Iqbal alias Billy was also killed in the encounter.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had set a price of Rs 30 lakh for the head of the extremist commander ‘Bali’, who was killed a month ago, and the Punjab government had set a price of Rs 25 lakh.

According to the report, operations against terrorists took place in Bannu, DI Khan, Peshawar, Mardan and Malakand region.

The militants killed in Lucky Marwat belong to Commander Atiq alias Tipu Gill group.

Among those killed are Zarrar, Uncle group operatives and Afghan militants.

According to the report, the slain terrorists were wanted by CTD in dozens of cases of target killing, attacks on police and other security forces.
