Citizens protested on the Maripur road of Karachi against the water and electricity shutdown, which caused a severe traffic jam in the surrounding areas.
Residents of the area say that drinking water is not available in the area, electricity load shedding is more than 18 hours.
According to the police, a large number of citizens blocked both the tracks of Maripur Road. As a result of which, Karachi port was disconnected from the rest of the country, while the traffic ban was also suspended for Balochistan and Western regions.
Due to the protest, long queues of vehicles were formed, traffic was also stuck in the streets of Lyari and Machhar Colony.
