West Sussex: A British man unsuccessfully tried to steal an ATM from a stolen crane, which has also affected the departure of several trains.
A 43-year-old man from Ashford, Middlesex, who did the stupid thing, has finally been arrested. The man first stole a small crane from an under-construction area and drove it to another location. When the police got information about it, they became alert.
The police’s sixth sense worked and he guarded the nearby ATMs. In the afternoon, the police saw the offender and the crane outside a store in Barnham where the wall had been broken by the crane.
The criminal saw the police and ran on foot, but the police easily arrested him. But next to this store there was a warehouse of Southern Railway where the necessary articles and clothes of the railway staff were kept. The shed suffered extraordinary damage due to which the train routine was severely affected. Many trains have been delayed in this situation.
Cases of theft, embezzlement, damage to property and interference in government have been registered against the arrested person. According to the police, a Volvo car was also running along in this whole process which may be the car of the accomplice of the criminal. Police are now looking for the car.
