An important meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Aviation was convened on July 6.
Sources say that the agenda of the meeting includes the issue of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) pilot license.
Sources said that the standing committee sought details of the number of PIA employees, educational qualifications and postings.
Sources said that the details of the employees recruited on fake degrees and the details of the administration’s action against them have also been sought.
The Senate Committee has also sought a response on the dispute between Airport Security Force (ASF) and Customs officials at Karachi Airport.
Details of canceled flights at all airports established in Balochistan have been requested from the Civil Aviation Authority.
The meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Aviation will be held at the Parliament House on July 6 at 2.30 pm.
