PTI approached Election Commission for election symbol 'bat'

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has filed an application in the Election Commission for allotment of electoral symbols in the upcoming general elections.

According to Express News, Tehreek-e-Insaf has approached the Election Commission to obtain the symbol of “bat” on the issue of getting the election symbol for the general elections.

After the PTI Chairman’s approval, a petition was filed in the Election Commission, requesting that Tehreek-e-Insaf be given the bat symbol for the general elections.

It should be noted that according to the law, before the general elections, political parties and candidates file an application to the Election Commission for allotment of electoral symbols of their choice.
