An incident of intolerance has taken place in the bus of People’s Bus Service Redline in Karachi. It is said that the driver and conductor of the bus allegedly assaulted the university professor.
In this regard, SSP South Asad Raza says that a case of the incident has been registered in Derakhshan police station and legal action is being taken.
On the other hand, Professor Dr. Atif Jameel says that he was sitting in the red bus from his home in Clifton to the university today. Gave 5 notes of 10 rupees to the conductor for rent. The conductor returned one note and asked to give another one, it was taped.
According to Dr. Atif Jameel, he told the conductor that there is a note of 1000, but it is not open. On which the conductor said to give 10 rupees or else he will drop off here.
Dr. Atif claimed that the conductor tortured the driver along with the harsh words.
In this regard, officials of the transport department say that the incident took place on the route of bus service R10. The professor travels by bus every day. Daily old notes are given which today the conductor forbade.
The officials of the transport department further said that on being prohibited, the professor sold mughals, which led to an argument.
He said that the matter is being further investigated. According to the evidence so far, the professor initiated the quarrel.
