Prime Minister Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif says that the world will have to raise voice against the violation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir, the killing of innocent people in state terrorism is highly condemnable.

Addressing the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s annual summit virtual meeting in India, he said that long-standing conflicts in the region should be resolved as per Security Council resolutions.

Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that he congratulates Iran for becoming a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

He says that all forms of terrorism should be condemned, the killing of innocent people in state terrorism is highly condemnable.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan has made immense sacrifices for the eradication of terrorism, which is the responsibility of all the member countries of the Organization for Sustainable Peace in the region.

He said that the international community should come forward to help Afghanistan, a peaceful and stable Afghanistan will lead to economic stability in the region.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif says that the SCO-Afghanistan Coordination Group is playing an important role, global unity is necessary for global issues.

He says that I congratulate Kazakhstan on getting membership of the organization, I congratulate Belarus on becoming a full member in the next session.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the SCO meeting is being held at a time when the world is facing economic and security challenges.

He said that connectivity has become key in the modern global economy, economic stability can be achieved through the development of connectivity.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif says that CPEC will prove to be a game changer in economic prosperity, peace and stability, Pakistan has a unique geographical position in Central Asia.

He says that special trade zones are being established under CPEC, Pakistan will host the SCO meeting on communication later this year.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that more than 30 billion dollars were lost to the Pakistani economy due to floods, developed countries should help developing countries to deal with climate change.

He said that close cooperation is needed to eradicate poverty in the region, the international community must raise its voice against the violation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also says that for world peace, people have to ensure the right of self-determination of Kashmiris, attitudes that spread religious hatred should be discouraged.
