After a day of heavy rain in Lahore, the first heavy rain of monsoon accompanied by wind fell in the night, which eased the heat a little.
After evening, there was heavy rain along with wind in different areas of Lahore, along with which electricity supply was suspended from 90 feeders.
According to WASA officials, 28 mm of rain was recorded in Gulberg, 18 mm in Laxmi Chowk and Cordoba Chowk and 25 mm in Jail Road.
Apart from Lahore, clouds also rained in Sheikhupura, which made the weather pleasant.
According to the Meteorological Department, this series of rains is likely to continue till July 8.
