Crackdown started against vendors selling milk at high price in Karachi

Karachi: On the direction of the Commissioner, the administration started a crackdown against the milk vendors who violated the official rate.

After increasing the price arbitrarily by the milk sellers, on Monday the assistant commissioners of all the districts of Karachi sold milk to the consumers at the price of 180 rupees per liter under their supervision for the implementation of the official price on the instructions of the commissioner Karachi Iqbal Memon. .

Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon has directed all Deputy Commissioners to monitor the availability of milk at the official rate and ensure that milk is available to consumers at Rs 180 per liter.

He said that all the concerned officers should go to the field and check the prices of milk specially and submit the action report, those who violate the official price should sell their milk at the official price under their supervision.
