Clash between security forces and terrorists in Hoshab, 2 officers including major martyred

Rawalpindi / Quetta: Two officers, including a major, were martyred in a fierce exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Hoshab area of ​​Balochistan.

According to ISPR, apart from planting landmines, the terrorists were involved in firing on security forces and civilians. On July 2, security forces launched a patrol in General Area Bilor based on confirmed intelligence regarding the movement of a group of terrorists.

Blockades were in place to block the escape routes of the terrorists. Meanwhile, a group of terrorists attempted to ambush the patrol and opened fire on the security forces. As a result of the fierce exchange of fire, two brave sons of the nation Major Saqib Hussain and Naik Baqir Ali embraced martyrdom while another soldier was injured in the firing.

The security forces are determined to work with the nation to thwart such attempts to sabotage the peace, stability and development of Balochistan. A follow-up operation is underway to arrest the assailants in the area.

Major Saqib Hussain, who was martyred during the attack, was 31 years old and a resident of Sanghar district, Sindh, while Naik Baqir Ali was 26 years old and a resident of Dadu district.

Major Saqib and his team fought the sneak attack terrorists till their last breath and did not give up. Meanwhile, Major Saqib Hussain and Naik Baqir Ali were hit by bullets from which they could not survive. Major Saqib Hussain left his parents and widow in mourning while Naik Baqir Ali left his three-year-old daughter and widow in mourning.

The spokesperson of Pakistan Army says that the sacrifices made by all our martyrs including Major Saqib Hussain and Naik Baqir Ali Shaheed for the defense of the dear motherland will not go in vain. The ongoing war against terrorists will continue until the end of the last terrorist.
