In India, the mother-in-law shot her daughter-in-law dead for refusing to do housework, while the police arrested 3 people including the accused.
According to local media reports, the incident took place in Gujrula district of Uttar Pradesh state. The deceased belonged to a wealthy family due to which she did not work in the in-laws.
There was often a quarrel between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law on the issue of work, while in-laws also demanded dowry from the deceased. Two days ago, the mother-in-law killed her daughter-in-law by shooting her in the head and throwing the pistol into a nearby drain.
The accused told in the house that the robbers had come to loot, who shot the daughter-in-law dead and escaped.
The victim’s mother lodged an FIR against the accused. When the police started investigating the matter, some people said that they saw the accused throwing something in the drain.
The police arrested the accused along with her husband and son. When the accused was interrogated, she confessed to the crime.
