
Acting President Sadiq Sanjrani has decided to send a letter to the international parliaments regarding the desecration of the Quran in Sweden.
Sadiq Sanjrani has said that the parliament, government and people of Pakistan are deeply saddened by the incident, the Swedish government should take immediate action.
He further said that hurting sentiments cannot be allowed under the guise of freedom of expression, hateful acts are also a violation of international laws.
On the other hand, the European Union has also rejected the desecration of the Holy Quran, saying that this incident is offensive, disrespectful and clearly provocative.
The European Union in its statement further said that there is no place for racism and hatred.
