Karachi: Due to increase in electricity price and cost of household electrical appliances, the sale of deep freezers and refrigerators is facing a drop of up to 75% on Eid al-Adha.
Home appliance sales centers and the central Sadar Electronics Market in Karachi are also empty of customers. Eid al-Adha is considered the season for selling refrigerators and deep freezers. Sales have been limited due to rising rates and prices of home appliances.

One of the major reasons for sale in sale is direct sale by companies, installment facility by banks for their customers which is reducing the sale of general stores, this year single door deep freezer Rs 70 to 75 thousand, double Door freezer, double door deep freezer is selling for 90 thousand to 1 lakh rupees, 12 cubic feet refrigerator is selling for 75 thousand rupees.
