The Peshawar High Court has sought response from the provincial government and the Election Commission on the request to hold elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim remarked that there is no law and order problem, as per the law, it is mandatory to hold elections within 90 days.
Advocate General Amir Javed took the position that the Governor can consult with the Election Commission for 36 days and according to the Election Act, after consulting for 36 days, he can give a date. Is.
The court remarked that we issue the pre-admission note, the provincial government and the Election Commission should submit their response. The court issued a notice to the provincial government and the Election Commission and adjourned the hearing till February 14.
