Rawalpindi: Security forces killed six terrorists in a successful operation in Tank District and North Waziristan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, security forces conducted a successful operation against terrorists in Tank and North Waziristan, in which 6 terrorists were killed in two-way firing.
According to ISPR, between 29 and 30 June, security forces and terrorists exchanged heavy fire in Tank, where three terrorists were killed and a huge amount of arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession.
In addition, three more terrorists were killed in another encounter between security forces and terrorists in Razmak area of North Waziristan.
According to ISPR, a clearance operation is being conducted in the area to eliminate other terrorists found in the area. According to the spokesman of the Pakistan Army, the local people of the area appreciated the operation and expressed full cooperation to end the menace of terrorism.
