Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that I am happy to announce that Pakistan has signed a staff level agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
In a statement issued on the social networking site Twitter, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the agreement will help bring economic stability and take the country on the path of development.
He has said that a standby arrangement of 3 billion US dollars for 9 months has been signed with the IMF.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif says that the agreement will help in improving Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves.
He further said that he appreciates Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and the team of the Ministry of Finance for this achievement.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also said that he is grateful to the IMF Managing Director and his team for their support.
It should be noted that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has signed a staff level agreement with Pakistan.
