Taking notice of the attack on Chaman Jail and the escape of 17 prisoners, Chief Minister Balochistan ordered an investigation.
It should be noted that the prisoners involved in serious cases in Chaman Jail had attacked the official and escaped from the jail after snatching the weapons.
According to the police, the prisoners attacked the prison officials while leaving the barracks for Eid prayers, after which they snatched the weapons from the officials and escaped.
Barrack-in-charge said that 302 other suspects involved in serious crimes were imprisoned in Barrack No. 4. When the prisoners of Barrack No. 4 were taken out to pray, they all attacked together.
According to the prison authorities, the prisoners snatched the Kalashnikov from the officer standing outside the main gate and opened fire.
However, now the Balochistan Chief Minister took notice of the escape of the prisoners and ordered an investigation.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan asked the Additional Chief Secretary Home for a report on the incident.
The Chief Minister directed that the law enforcement agencies should take joint action to arrest the escaped prisoners.
