mercury poplar: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached Para Chinar on Pak-Afghan border and spent Eid day with army men and officers.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir offered Eid prayers along with soldiers and officers at Para Chinar. Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb were also with the Prime Minister.
Appreciating the high morale, military readiness and professional standards of the army, the Prime Minister said that I am spending the Eid day with you today along with the Chief of Army Staff.
The Prime Minister while speaking said that I have come to pay tribute to the efforts and passions of our officers and men who bravely guarded the borders of the motherland. The nefarious plan was foiled.
The Prime Minister reiterated his resolve that there is no hiding place for peace-breakers, terrorists, their patrons and facilitators. Those forces who wanted to create division and rift in the nation for their nefarious agenda were defeated.
Earlier, Chief of Army Staff welcomed the Prime Minister on his arrival. Apart from Commander 11 Corps, high officials of the provincial government were also present on the occasion.
