Federal Minister for Climate Change, Senator Sherry Rehman, while issuing a message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, wished all the countrymen a hearty Eid Mubarak and appealed to avoid sacrificing in the streets.
In his message, he said that the pre-monsoon rains are continuing across the country before Eid this year due to which water has accumulated in many small and big cities.
He said that the citizens should perform the sacrifice only at the designated and designated place, because our drains and sewage system are already under pressure from rainwater.
The Federal Minister of Environmental Change says that by sacrificing in the streets, the pollution will increase, the water drainage system will be affected.
He has appealed to the public not to throw animal skins and furs in open spaces and streets.
