Karachi: Millions of goats, cows, bullocks and camels were sold for sacrifice on Eid-ul-Adha this year, with the largest number of animals sold for collective sacrifice.

On the Northern Bypass, the price of a large camel was 5 to 14 lakh rupees, the price of a small and light camel was 2 to 4.5 lakh rupees.

The fare for up to 10 km is Rs 2,000 to Rs 4,000 and for going further Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,000. According to a conservative estimate, more than Rs 2 billion was circulating in business activities related to sacrifice besides cattle in Karachi. .
