Karachi: A truck hit a rickshaw near the Northern Bypass Toll Plaza, resulting in the death of a woman in the rickshaw while her husband and 4-year-old son were injured.
According to the details, in a traffic accident near Northern Bypass Toll Plaza in Gulshan Mimar police station area, the woman rider of the rickshaw was killed while the husband and child were injured and they were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital by a hidden ambulance.
The woman who died in the accident was identified as 23-year-old Hamsheera, while the injured husband was identified as 25-year-old Kamal and the child as 4-year-old Sameer.
According to the rescue officials, the accident happened due to the collision of the rickshaw with a speeding truck.
