The company advised its customers to take necessary safety precautions even on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
A K.Electric spokesperson said that the company’s staff is monitoring the weather forecast and is ready to deal with any emergency situation. According to the spokesman, appropriate measures are being taken to ensure the supply of electricity as per the demand.
According to K.Electric spokesperson, K.Electric has requested citizens to maintain a safe distance from electrical installations including utility poles and transformers in case of rain during or after the Eid holidays.
He also said that consumers should not tie animals to electric poles, which is extremely unsafe and harmful. Illegal cords and unauthorized TV/Internet cables can also pose security risks.
The spokesman added that guidance will be available during Eid also through KE social media platforms, SMS, K Live app, WhatsApp service or 118. In case of complaints these channels can be used 24 hours a day.
