Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced a 120-day amnesty in the punishment of prisoners on Eid-ul-Azha.
The Sindh Home Department has also issued a notification in this regard.
According to the notification, this amnesty will not apply to prisoners involved in kidnapping for ransom and terrorism.
The Home Department says that amnesty will not apply to prisoners involved in robbery and activities against the state.
