Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Karachi has granted bail to 2 accused including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi President Akram Cheema.
In ATC Karachi, the bail application of 2 accused, including PTI Karachi president, was heard, the court ordered their release on a bond of 50, 50 thousand rupees.
The court also ordered the release of Akram Cheema and Akram Jilani from jail.
In the bail application, the stand was taken that Akram Cheema and Akram Jilani had nothing to do with the May 9 riots.
The presence of the accused at the crime scene is not proven, there is no footage of Akram Cheema in the CCTV footage of the surrounding areas, he is cooperating with the police investigation.
