When the hearing started, a team of 4 lawyers was formed to fight the Election Commission’s criminal case in the Tosha Khana case on behalf of Imran Khan.
Lawyers Ali Zafar, Ali Bukhari, Khawaja Haris, Gohar Ali Khan will fight the case on behalf of Imran Khan, on whose behalf the lawyer letter was submitted to the court.
Election Commission’s lawyer Saad Hassan and Imran Khan’s lawyers Ali Bukhari and Gohar Ali Khan reached the court room.
An application for exemption from attendance on medical grounds was filed by Imran Khan.
The judge inquired whether the papers had been submitted.
Lawyer Gauhar Ali Khan replied that the bail bonds of Imran Khan were submitted yesterday.
The judge said in his remarks that if the application for exemption from such attendance continues to be filed, how will the indictment be imposed?
Lawyer Ali Bukhari objected that we were not provided with certified copies, copies are not given by attaching screenshots of WhatsApp.
Election Commission’s lawyer said that we have provided certified copies to PTI’s lawyers before the court.
The judge directed to provide certified copies of all the evidence to the court and PTI.
Election Commission’s lawyer said that we will give certified copies of the complaint and evidence today, but why Imran Khan has not come to the court yet? We have seen Imran Khan dancing on containers.
Imran Khan’s lawyer, Ali Bukhari, said that such statements should not be made that make it appear that the work of the Munshis is being done, the law should be discussed, lest we also have to speak.
Election Commission’s lawyer said that Imran Khan’s lawyers bring legacies with them.
The PTI lawyers objected to the inappropriate remarks of the Election Commission counsel and said that they should take back their words.
Imran Khan’s lawyer requested that Imran Khan’s appearance in the court of Judge Rukhshanda Shaheen on February 15, give a later date.
