Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) expelled 7 more local body representatives from the party for not participating in the mayoral election of Karachi.
On behalf of PTI, 24 local body representatives have been expelled from the party for non-participation in the mayoral elections in Karachi.
President PTI Sindh Haleem Adil Shaikh issued a notification to expel 7 more local representatives of PTI from the party.
According to PTI officials, the provincial president of the party took the decision on the recommendation of the inquiry committee formed for the investigation.
Those expelled from the party include Abdul Rehman Khan from Shah Faisal, Tahir Parvez from Sadar Town and Muneedur Rehman from Mangho Peer, Hayatullah from Sohrab Goth, Amjad Hussain from Korangi, Atif Hayat from Mangho Peer and Daulat Khan from Sohrab Goth.
According to the notification, a letter has also been written to the general secretary of the party to terminate the party membership of all the members.
Earlier, 17 local body representatives were expelled from the party by Halim Adil Sheikh for taking a decision against the party policy, so far 24 local body representatives have been expelled from the party.
