He said that the operation against terrorism is going on steadily, poisonous propaganda is being done against Pakistan forces, the families of the martyrs were harassed, did the martyrs sacrifice because their symbols were desecrated. He said that there is complete coordination and transparency in the decision-making of the Pakistan Army, many evidences have been found in the investigation so far, more evidence is being found, the anti-national forces were trying to create a rift in the relationship between the people and the army. Major General Ahmed Sharif said that the youth was incited to revolt by raising false slogans of revolution on May 9. And punishable under law, those obstructing the completion of this process will be dealt with severely.
DG ISPR also said that the granddaughter of a retired four-star officer and the son-in-law of a retired four-star officer are also in custody. The trial is being conducted and will continue.
Major General Ahmad Sharif said that the case related to the military courts is going on in the Supreme Court, currently 17 standing courts are working across the country, the military courts did not come into existence after May 9, they were already there and active. According to the evidence and the law, the civil courts have transferred these cases to the military courts. After seeing the evidence, the civil courts have sent these cases to the military courts according to the law. Yes, these accused also have the right to appeal to the Supreme Court. The Army Act has been a part of the law and the constitution for decades. Constitution is a part of Pakistan, for us the Constitution of Pakistan is foremost.
He further said that this year 95 officers and men were martyred, the successful war against terrorism will continue until the end of the last terrorist.
