Lahore: (PNP Update) High-level appointments in the bureaucracy in Punjab, Chief Secretary Punjab, Inspector General of Police (IG) Punjab, CCPO Lahore appointed by the former government were removed from their positions while the Election Commission New officers have been appointed after the approval of OF Pakistan.
Chief Secretary Punjab Abdullah Sambal was removed from his post and ordered to report to the Federal Establishment Division while Zahid Akhtar Zaman was appointed as the new Chief Secretary. Before that, Zahid Akhtar Zaman was appointed Senior Member Board of Revenue Punjab.
IG Punjab Aamir Zulfikar was also removed from the post while Dr. Usman Anwar has been appointed IG Punjab in his place, Dr. Usman was earlier posted as Additional IG Motorway.
On the other hand, CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mehmood Dogar has also been removed from the post and Additional IG Bilal Siddique Kamiana has been appointed as the new CCPO Lahore.
Apart from this, former Chief Minister Punjab Pervaizalhi’s Principal Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti was also removed from his post and his services were handed over to the Punjab Assembly.
